Regent Dental NHS Prices

Everyone should have access to a dentist. Having good oral hygiene, healthy teeth and gums is a possibility for the whole family with NHS services offered at Regent Dental Care.

There are differences between NHS services and those offered privately. Our private dental services offer a wider range of treatments and materials than our NHS services.

Before you begin a course of treatment please make sure you know if you are being treated privately or as an NHS patient as this could well make a difference to the price you pay and the level of service you are entitled to.

Cosmetic treatments like cosmetic white fillings and crowns, tooth cleaning or polishing for non-health reasons, veneers, implants and teeth whitening are not available as an NHS treatment (a health service with limited resources), however can be done on a private basis at the practice.

We pride ourselves in providing high quality dentistry for all the family on the NHS. Our highly skilled team are able to provide a wide range of general dental treatments that will treat existing and developing conditions, promote good oral health and prevent dental health problems.

    Personal Plan

    Personal dental treatment plan

Your dentist should give you a personal treatment plan before you have Band 2 or 3 treatment. The plan gives details of the treatment and the amount you’ll have to pay. You’ll be asked to read and sign the plan.

If you’ve discussed having private treatment with your dentist, the details and costs of this treatment will be listed separately on your treatment plan. Before having dental treatment, talk to your dentist about the benefits of treatment and any risks involved.

    Paying for treatment

Your dentist is entitled to ask for your payment at any stage of your treatment. We require all patients to pay for their treatment on arrival for their appointment before seeing the clinician or having any treatment carried out.

    Referral to another dentist

If you’re referred to a private dentist (and you accept this option) you will: Pay the appropriate NHS band charge to the dentist who referred you, and pay a fee for the dental work carried out by the private dentist you are referred to.
